Partnership offers $2,000 for information leading to charges filed
Dear Students, Faculty, and Staff,
I am writing to inform you that Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ is partnering with the City of Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ and the Poweshiek County Sheriff’s Office to offer a $2,000 reward for information leading to charges being filed against those responsible for acts of racially-based harassment and vandalism in Poweshiek County. This specifically includes two incidents of harassment on the Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ campus. You can read the full press release on the .
We are working closely with the City and County, as well as other community organizations, to publicize the reward broadly and we are grateful for their partnership. Holding individuals accountable for their actions is an important component of a holistic approach to change at Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ and in the broader community that also includes safety, education, and dialogue across difference.
